The Whistler series, Lowepro’s “all-season” adventure backpacks for outdoor photographers and videographers, has been updated and are just now starting to ship.
These weather-resistant packs sport a nylon exterior and come with seam-sealed covers for heavy rain. Both the Whistler 450 and 350 AW II sizes can fit a substantial amount of camera gear, plus accessories. For example, the Whistler 450 AW II can fit a large DSLR with attached 70-200mm telephoto lens, eight lenses, and a flash. If one has other plans for what needs to be carried, the camera compartment’s adjustable dividers can be set to a customized layout. The front pocket is completely waterproof and features drain holes so that wet or icy hiking and climbing gear can be safely separated and dried.
Check the video below for a full rundown on the new changes that have made their way to the Whistler II backpacks.
